Founder-owned since 2017. Nine years, four countries, one accountable delivery team.
EMRIX began in 2017 as four engineers with a rented workshop and one control-panel retrofit for a regional process plant. The shape of the company since then has been set less by strategy than by clients asking us to come back for the next thing.
Nine years later we run our own switchgear assembly, an instrumentation stock holding, and service teams in Germany, Australia, Egypt and Pakistan — within reach of most plants we look after. The senior core team is still on site regularly — that was never a phase.
Cement and minerals producers, power generators, oil & gas operators, water utilities, chemical and pharmaceutical plants, and the EPC contractors who build for them. Some engagements are a single retrofitted line; others are a decade-long relationship across a whole site.
Vendor-neutral technology choices, house standards for code and drawings, genuine spares held in stock, and handover packs written for the next person — so the plant stays serviceable long after our team has driven home.
“Control systems that tell the truth about what is happening in a plant, and respond the way the people running them expect.”
A smart industry that stays humane: plants understood remotely, diagnosed early and fixed quickly — without asking operators to become data scientists.
We finish what we start, including the unglamorous last five percent.
Honest scopes, honest timelines, honest bad news early.
Good workmanship inside the panel, not just on the drawing.
One team with the client's team — no throwing work over walls.
Operators know their plant. We listen before we redesign.
No delivery date is worth a shortcut around a safety case.
Each step below came from a client request we could not answer with what we had at the time.
Engineering team formed in North Rhine-Westphalia; first control-panel retrofit delivered.
In-house switchgear assembly opens; first plant-wide SCADA delivered end to end.
Quality system certified; commissioning team travels to its first overseas site.
Secure remote access piloted on a handful of sites during global travel restrictions — the groundwork for the practice standardised in 2022.
Stockist and importer agreements signed; measuring instruments held in Germany.
The remote-access and diagnostics practice now standard on every job.
A second production line opened in Hürth to meet rising demand ahead of opening regional offices the following year.
Engineers based closer to clients in Australia, Egypt and Pakistan.
Automation, instrumentation, panels and digital under one roof.
